Buck Wince

Buck is the President and Founding Principal at Wellogy. He is passionate about developing “Quality of Life” communities focused on population health in urban, rural, and suburban settings. He conducts extensive research and publishes work around the notion of community and regional health and wellness developments. Buck has presented nationally at several conferences and conventions, including the following: BOMA Medical Office Buildings & Healthcare Real Estate Conference. “Healthy Urbanism™ – The Next Chapter in Healthcare Design,” 2019; International Council of Shopping Center’s RECon Convention, “Healthcare as Retail,” 2018; and the Columbus Chapter of The American Marketing Association, “Healthcare Goes Retail,” 2011. 

Buck received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University.

Julie Baldeck

Julie is a Principal at Wellogy, leading the firm’s operations with a focus on precision and dedication across the entire project life cycle. With her extensive expertise in elevator modernization, higher education, and government projects, Julie has a proven track record of managing complex, high-stakes initiatives that deliver impactful results. She is spearheading several prominent projects at the Ohio Expo Center, where her skill in coordinating multifaceted efforts ensures each project’s success.

Julie’s calm and resolute nature has made her an invaluable resource for clients and colleagues, enabling her to guide multi-faceted projects smoothly from concept to completion. She joined Wellogy in 1999, holds a Master of Architecture degree from The Ohio State University, and is a licensed architect committed to excellence that underscores her work and leadership.

Matt Canterna

Matt brings strategic clarity and focused leadership to the design and execution of highly complex, technically intensive projects. As a Principal at Wellogy, he leads multidisciplinary teams through programs that demand deep coordination, specialized systems integration, and a long-range view of operational functionality.

With extensive experience in research, life sciences, animal science, and equipment-intensive facilities, Matt is recognized for guiding institutions through complex projects with clarity, responsiveness, and technical rigor. He thrives in environments where every detail matters-where sequencing, stakeholder input, and infrastructure planning must align precisely to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Matt’s leadership is rooted in a strong client partnership model, ensuring early alignment of goals, transparent communication, and constant forward momentum. His ability to navigate complexity and maintain focus on the big picture makes him a trusted advisor for academic, research, and institutional clients seeking high-performing spaces that work from day one and evolve intelligently over time.

Rebecca Fox

Becky is a bold, driven leader at Wellogy—an architect who brings clarity, energy, and relentless follow-through to every project she leads. As a Principal, she sets a high bar for accountability, owning every aspect of the work, from timelines and budgets to team performance and client outcomes.

Her leadership has shaped some of the firm’s most complex and celebrated higher education projects, including the Frank Stanton Veterinary Spectrum of Care Clinic at The Ohio State University. She thrives in navigating multifaceted renovation and new construction efforts, bringing structure, urgency, and deep focus to every phase.

Becky is known for her strategic thinking and precision, but also for her ability to rally teams and move projects forward with purpose. Thoughtful in her approach and driven by results, she leads with the end user in mind, making spaces smarter, stronger, and built for impact.

Kathleen Kelly

Kathy brings more than three decades of experience as an architect and laboratory planner, but it’s her boundless curiosity and future-focused mindset that set her apart. A natural innovator, she pushes ideas beyond traditional boundaries to uncover new possibilities for scientific environments. Kathy sees research spaces as living ecosystems where science, sustainability, and the human experience intersect. She thrives on helping clients define bold visions and transform complex needs into forward-thinking, technically rigorous solutions. Her strength lies in connecting the dots between disciplines- uniting stakeholders around shared goals for excellence, safety, energy efficiency, and purposeful design.

Kathy’s work consistently leads to environments that not only support discovery but also inspire it. As a 2024 SCUP Fellow, Kathy conducted extensive research on the intersection between the neurodiverse experience and the built environment, identifying emerging trends in achieving inclusivity by investigating the neuroscience behind existing barriers and conducting human reaction studies.
