The Lafayette Medical Office Building is a 40,000 sf ground-up core + shell building for future Medical Office use. Being adjacent to the Clinical project, the Lafayette MOB will complement the architecture and planning of the site to create a Medical Campus for the city of Lafayette.
Part of any effort in healthy communities is first to make healthcare and wellness accessible to the public. The Lafayette MOB will bring new practices and offerings into the area and allow for better, more affordable care to the local population. The focus on creating a medical campus helps promote walkability and build a culture of wellness by bringing people together in an area designed to achieve just that. Additionally, the creation of new offices will spark an influx of new business and potential residents for the city of Lafayette and serve the community for years to come.
The design of the Medical Office Building takes cues from an adjacent project and care to respond to historical references of Lafayette in building material. Brick and glulam columns and beams on the exterior provide interesting elements within a modern envelope designed to be energy efficient for the long term.
