Koloma is pioneering the future of clean energy through advanced geological hydrogen research—and their new home at the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center is designed to meet that mission with precision and purpose. Wellogy is leading the design and delivery of Koloma’s highly specialized tenant fit-out, translating scientific ambition into a fully integrated, high-performance lab environment.
The ground floor will house two customized research labs engineered to meet the demands of solids and liquids analysis. The 850 sf Solids Analysis Lab is designed to accommodate nine critical pieces of equipment. Adjacent to it, the 1,120 sq. ft. Liquids Analysis and Electrochemical Hydrogen Pump Lab brings flexibility and functionality to a highly technical research process. Both lab spaces and the adjacent storage space are designed with robust infrastructure to support current equipment as well as future flexibility to support growth and evolution of the science.
On the third floor, we’re creating new headquarters spaces that balance flexibility, function, and forward-thinking design. A new 4,800-square-foot office and executive suite provides expansive workspace for team collaboration, while 2,255 square feet of additional office, breakout, and dry lab maker space support research, growth, and daily operations, maximizing views of Ohio State’s Carmenton Innovation District and the adjacent Waterman Natural Resources Laboratory.
