Charcoal Restaurant

Charcoal Restaurant derives its name from a European style of cooking using “bincho” charcoal. This special grill cooks food at a very high temperature, nearly twice the temperature of traditional charcoal.

Wellogy was selected to provide full restaurant design and architectural services for the new 5,400 sf urban destination restaurant concept in Denver, Colorado. We worked closely with the owner to translate their unique vision into a beautiful and operationally efficient restaurant environment.

The design, inspired by the owner’s affinity for Japanese culture and architecture, features an open kitchen with the bincho grill in the center, allowing guests to watch the food being prepared from sushi bar-style seating. An ample bar and lounge area, focused on the restaurant’s diverse wine selection, features a variety of seating options and is separated from the dining room by a transparent wine display screen.
