Operating several gourmet hot dog stands since 2005, the Biker Jim’s brand is an icon of the Denver culinary scene. Biker Jim’s unique and varied menu of exotic hotdogs ranges from traditional dogs to reindeer, bison, pheasant, and even duck. Recently featured on the Travel Channel’s No Reservations with Anthony Bordain, Jim’s food stands have become one of the most popular stops on Denver’s 16th Street Mall.
Wanting to translate his famous stands into an outstanding restaurant dining experience, Wellogy was selected to complete full design and architectural services for the owner’s first traditional sit-down dining location. Davis Wince worked closely with Biker Jim to develop a destination restaurant near Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team.
The design features a central grill that allows the chef to personally interact with the patrons, just like the street cart experience that has made Biker Jim’s so successful. The design also features ample seating with street front, glass garage doors that connect the dining room to the lively Ballpark neighborhood.
